1st International Quality Symposium will focus on the quality of laboratory analyzes<\/em><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The National Center for Tropical Diseases (CENETROP)<\/a> of Bolivia, in partnership with Controllab<\/a>, will hold the 1st International Quality Symposium<\/strong>, on May 4th and 5th, at the Colegio de Bioqu\u00edmica y Farmacia de Santa Cruz.<\/p>\n

The event’s program includes topics related to the main areas of analysis, such as biochemistry, urinalysis, hormones, among others. Good laboratory practices will also be discussed; the use of indicators for the organization’s sustainability; the importance of internal and external quality controls for issuing reliable reports, in addition to round tables for discussions and doubts\u2019 clarification.<\/p>\n

Controllab, a reference in laboratory quality control in Brazil and Latin America, will participate in various activities at the event, sharing knowledge and experience with the presence of its specialists and guests.<\/p>\n

They will work with a focus on promoting analytical excellence and professional updating, discussing the main laboratory quality control tools and presenting cases extracted from Proficiency Testing, Internal Control and Quality Specification.<\/p>\n

CENETROP is an institution with clinical, laboratory, epidemiological, research, biological production and external quality assessment programs aimed at knowledge of infectious pathologies in Bolivia.<\/p>\n
