This Brazilian initiative, launched in 2006 by SBPC\/ML and Controllab, currently serves around 400 organizations across 17 countries.<\/p>\n<p>The event was organized by the <a href=\"https:\/\/cscc-sccc.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CSCC (Canadian Society of Clinical Chemists)<\/a> in Quebec, Canada. The experts participated in a symposium that brought together members of the<a href=\"https:\/\/ifcc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> IFCC\u2019s Laboratory Errors and Patient Safety<\/a> (WG-LEPS) working group to discuss perspectives on improving quality in laboratory medicine and patient safety.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Wilson Shcolnik shared insights from the experience of comparative management of laboratory indicators, highlighting the contributions of Brazilian data and the development of new indicators, such as those in microbiology.
