MetroAlimentos will bring the discussion about how the tool, which contributes to the productivity and sustainability of organizations, can be important as a laboratory strategy<\/em><\/p>\n

From the 11th to the 13th of May, there will be the Metrology Symposium for Food Quality Management, MetroAlimentos<\/a><\/strong>, organized by the Metrological Network of the State of S\u00e3o Paulo (REMESP)<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The mission of the 100% virtual event will be to share with the participants the impact and importance of regulations on the production process and laboratory analyzes, based on updates from regulatory agencies.<\/p>\n

With the participation of several professionals from various testing laboratories, research centers, regulatory agencies, among others, the symposium will be presented in a format with three panels and three round tables.<\/p>\n

1st day:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Panel: food and nutrition security in Brazil;<\/p>\n

– Round table: mandatory requirements for nutrition labeling in foods.<\/p>\n

2nd day:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Panel: metrological challenges in the safety and quality of analytical results;<\/p>\n

– Round table: standards for macro, microscopic and instrumental analysis in food.<\/p>\n

3rd day:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Panel: dissemination of metrology in education and in society;<\/p>\n

– Round table: the challenges for food production chains.<\/p>\n

This will be another event that will count on the participation of Controllab<\/a><\/strong>, talking about a relevant subject for laboratory managers. The company will be present at Panel 2 in the morning for the second day of the event, through the Service Management supervisor Luiza Bottino, addressing the theme \u201cBenchmarking of Indicators as a laboratory strategy\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is gratifying to see the scope and relevance for which this theme has been spreading among the laboratories. This will be the first time that we will share this issue with the food public, showing that strategic management based on market information contributes to the laboratories achieving promising results, ensuring their sustainability and positioning among market players “, comments the Supervisor .<\/p>\n

The event aims to disseminate the importance of Metrology for the quality of processes in the entire food production chain. In 2021, the symposium will focus on food and nutrition security in Brazil.<\/p>\n
