The activity will approach the good practices to ensure the quality of microbiological results and will include the participation of two company specialists<\/em><\/p>\n

Organized by the Brazilian Society of Microbiology<\/a><\/strong>, the second day of the Brazilian Congress of Microbiology<\/a><\/strong> will feature another participation by Controllab<\/strong><\/a>. On October 23rd<\/sup>, from noon onwards, the company will attend a technical lecture with the theme \u201cGood practices to ensure the quality of microbiological results\u201d.<\/p>\n

Shirley Lima, Microbiology manager and Juliana Barroso, Technical Services analyst will lead the lecture. With a focus on quality control tools, they will discuss valuable information with congress participants.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are going to address the use of Certified Reference Material (CRM) and Proficiency Testing in the microbiological quality control routine. How these important instruments contribute to the reliability of the results and efficiency of the analytical processes\u201d, comments Juliana Barroso.<\/p>\n

The content is democratic and will embrace the routines of different segments, from clinical microbiology, to food industries, environment, medicines and others. These routines cover multiple processes that require validations, including: microorganism detection test, antibiogram, alternative methods, new equipment, microbiological inputs (culture media), etc.<\/p>\n

\u201cTalking about good practices to ensure the quality of results is always a current and relevant topic, as they are processes required by standards, legislation, audits, accreditations and inspections. The impacts of the results of microbiological analyzes affect everything from the services offered to the population to the safety of the products\u201d, concludes Shirley Lima.<\/p>\n

The activity will take place on October 23, Saturday, from 12:00pm to 12:30pm in room 01. This is an opportunity to exchange with professionals who work in the production and conduct of quality control services.<\/p>\n
