Activity carried out by Controllab will bring valuable discussions about good practices and will address the routines of different segments, from clinical microbiology, to food industries, environment, drugs and others.<\/em><\/p>

On October 23, in its second participation in the 31st National Congress of Microbiology<\/strong><\/a>, Controllab<\/a><\/strong> will hold a technical lecture with the theme \u201cGood practices to ensure the quality of microbiological results\u201d.<\/p>

The activity is another part of the event\u2019s program organized by the Brazilian Society of Microbiology<\/a><\/strong> and addresses discussions with multiple areas of microbiology.<\/p>

Controllab\u2019s representatives in this activity will be Shirley Lima, Microbiology manager and Juliana Barroso, Technical Services analyst, who will lead the lecture focusing on quality control tools, discussing valuable information with the congress participants.<\/p>

\u201cWe are going to address the use of Certified Reference Material (CRM) and Proficiency Testing in routine microbiological quality control. How these important instruments contribute to the reliability of the results and efficiency of the analytical processes\u201d, comments Juliana Barroso.<\/p>

The discussion on the subject is current and relevant, as they are processes required by standards, legislation, audits, accreditations and inspections. The impacts of the results of microbiological analyzes affect everything from the services offered to the population to the safety of the products.<\/p>

The content is democratic and will embrace the routines of different segments, from clinical microbiology, to food industries, environment, drugs and others. These routines cover multiple processes that require validations, including: microorganism detection test, antibiogram, alternative methods, new equipment, microbiological inputs (culture media), etc.<\/p>

The activity will take place on Saturday October 23, at noon in room 01 and will last 30 minutes. This is an opportunity to exchange information with professionals who work in the production and conduct of quality control services.<\/p>
