The equipment distributor has teamed up with the quality control provider to evidence and ensure the quality of the \u201cBC 30 vet\u201d, a high-tech four-part hematology analyzer<\/em><\/p>

The participation of Foco Vet<\/a><\/strong> – a company specializing in the best solutions in veterinary diagnostic equipment – in the Controllab<\/strong><\/a>, Collaborator Supplier Program, demonstrates the distributor\u2019s commitment to the quality of the products offered. Consequently, there is more reliability for laboratories seeking quality verification and compliance with CFMV Resolution No. 1374 – Resolu\u00e7\u00e3o CFMV n\u00ba 1374<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>

The resolution came into effect in December 2020 and has specific guidelines for animal diagnosis. It provides that the technically responsible veterinarian must guarantee the quality of the examination performed, whether performed in an office, clinic or laboratory.<\/p>

Among the guidelines, the resolution determines that, through quality control, laboratories and their subsidiaries must ensure the reliability of the services contemplating for the tests: form of control and frequency of use, limits and acceptability criteria for these results, in addition evaluation and recording of them.<\/p>

Helping laboratories to efficiently comply with this requirement of the resolution is one of the fruits of the partnership between the distributor and Controllab – the largest Brazilian company in laboratory quality control.<\/p>

Foco Vet works with BC 2800 vet, BC 5000 vet and BC 30 vet (new) equipment. All are included in Controllab\u2019s quality control program and, whenever a group of users of these systems is formed, the provider makes reference values \u200b\u200bavailable for the controls.<\/p>

By including the BC 30 vet in the Collaborating Supplier partnership, the reference values \u200b\u200bof the equipment are ensured, without depending on a minimum training of results from the laboratories that use the system.<\/p>

This partnership is continuous, with each new control material produced, whether for use in external control or internal control, analyzes and valuations are carried out on the supplier’s equipment for canine, equine and feline (cat) breeders. In other words, the reference values \u200b\u200bfor this system are permanently included in the package insert of Controllab\u2019s internal control programs.<\/p>

The cooperation allows even more integration between the supplier, the client laboratory and Controllab, as the dynamics of the Collaborator Supplier Program<\/u> favors the exchange of information.<\/p>

\u201cApplying quality tools in the analytical routine is essential to promote more accurate reports and, consequently, comply with the legal requirement\u201d, explains Claudio Bastos, Controllab\u2019s Services supervisor.<\/p>

The Proficiency Testing or External Control periodically checks the accuracy of the results and the Internal Control monitors the analytical performance of the systems at each routine.<\/p>

Mindray\u2019s latest release for veterinary hematology, the BC 30 vet is a high-tech four-part hematology analyzer. It has separate counting channels for 13 species and 20 more programming possibilities according to customer needs. Practical and economical, it uses only two working reagents and has one of the simplest and most efficient maintenance on the market.<\/p>
