In an exclusive interview, Santiago Fares-Taie – the biochemist who coordinates the Task Force Young Scientists – explained the group’s role in the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC) and addressed other issues relevant to the laboratory public<\/em><\/p>

Keeping the purpose of promoting knowledge and updating professionals in the field of clinical analysis and laboratory medicine, Dr. Jos\u00e9 Antonio Tesser Poloni, educational manager at Controllab<\/a><\/strong>, interviewed biochemist Santiago Fares-Taie for Talking About Event<\/strong><\/a>, Controllab’s environment for conversations about the main topics involving laboratory events.<\/p>

The Biochemist detailed the responsibility of the IFCC Task Force Young Scientists<\/strong><\/a>, which brings together groups of young scientists to contribute to IFCC activities and promote laboratory medicine across continents.<\/p>

In addition, he highlighted the importance of the Global Med Lab Week<\/strong><\/a> program, an initiative that aims to recognize and celebrate the vital impact of the laboratory and the critical role of clinical laboratory professionals in healthcare and patient care around the world.<\/p>

And, finally, he revealed his expectations for WorldLab \u2013 EuromedLab<\/strong><\/a>, to be held in Rome, from May 21 to 25, 2023, in which Controllab will participate with three accepted scientific abstracts.<\/p>
