igual que la ATCC<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>, es una referencia mundial para colecciones de cultivos. Ambas est\u00e1n registradas en el WDCM (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wdcm.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>World Data Center for Microorganisms<\/strong><\/a>), una base de datos internacional que agrupa cepas en un sistema \u00fanico de identificadores, facilitando la comparaci\u00f3n y el intercambio de informaci\u00f3n sobre cepas de referencia.<\/p><p>En el WDCM, una misma cepa puede tener diferentes designaciones seg\u00fan la colecci\u00f3n. Por ejemplo, la cepa Escherichia coli NCTC<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a012241 tambi\u00e9n se designa como ATCC<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a025922; CIP<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a076.24; DSM<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a01103; CCUG<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a017620; CECT<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0434; dependiendo de la colecci\u00f3n de cultivos.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ae516e9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ae516e9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Por lo tanto, al utilizar una cepa NCTC<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0o una ATCC<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>, est\u00e1s utilizando cepas de referencia, con las mismas caracter\u00edsticas fenot\u00edpicas y genotipado.
