In order to further optimize your operations, Controllab makes Quality Control programs available to clients via the Internet.

The ONLINE System offers simplicity and speed in submitting results, shorter turnaround times for evaluations, and greater convenience, with information and services available at any time.

Controllab respects its clients and is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all their individual results. To protect data, prevent unauthorized access, ensure the correct use of information, and keep it updated, we have adopted various security techniques, such as the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol, which encrypts the information sent from the website to our database. Our encryption key is generated by Let’s Encrypt, the most respected digital certification company in the market.

Results are accessible only to the participant, and their disclosure is the participant’s own responsibility.

Results will only be sent to third parties, such as credentialing or accreditation bodies, when requested and authorized by the participant.

The participant must designate a person responsible for acting as the administrator of the Online System. This administrator will receive an access password to register other users, delegate activities related to the program, submit results, receive and print reports, and must also manage the relationship between Controllab and the laboratory.

There is also the option to restrict user access to specific areas, providing data privacy as deemed appropriate by the participating Institution.

The participant may change their registration data (password, email, person in charge, among others) if deemed necessary by clicking on user registration located on the toolbar of the Homepage menu.

It is important to emphasize that the administrator’s password grants access to all of the participant’s data. Therefore, the administrator must ensure its confidentiality as a way to prevent the exposure of information to unauthorized persons.

Use of Cookies

To enable the provision of a more personalized service, tailored to the characteristics and interests of each user, “cookies” are used in some parts of the site.

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your own computer (they are not saved on our servers) and serve to recognize, track, and store your browsing exclusively on the Controllab website.
