Evaluate the performance of pH, density, and alcohol content for free, and strengthen the reliability of your analyses.
Controllab, a leader in laboratory quality control in Latin America, invites laboratories to participate for free in the first round of the Proficiency Testing for Cosmetics: Perfumes.
In this round, participants will be able to evaluate their performance in pH, density, and alcohol content, ensuring measurement accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Proficiency Testing (PT), also known as External Quality Control (EQC), is an essential tool for assessing a laboratory’s analytical performance. In addition, it is a necessary requirement for laboratory accreditation processes and for meeting the demands of regulatory authorities.
In the cosmetics industry, the reliability of these analyses is crucial to ensure that raw materials, in-process products, and finished products meet specifications, guaranteeing quality, safety, and efficacy.
The Proficiency Testing (PT) follows the criteria of ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17043 and will be sent in October 2025. This round will be free of charge for laboratories that register their interest via this link by September 19.
This initiative expands the portfolio for testing laboratories, which already have a wide range of controls for physicochemical and microbiological analyses, as well as an extensive scope of Certified Reference Material.
