Between the 7 and 11 of September, the 2nd Virtual Congress of the Brazilian Society of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (SBPC/ML) will take place. With the central theme “Digital Transformation: tendencies and challenges in laboratory medicine”, the institution holds another virtual congress.
On the theme of digital transformation, data are highlighted as guidelines for decisions in laboratory routines and in this context, Controllab, the largest quality control provider in Brazil and Latin America, will participate by sharing experiences in various activities.
The Controllab participation already takes place on September 4, in pre-congress courses. In the morning, the company will exchange experience of “Benchmarking of Laboratory Indicators” information with professionals from different organizations. In the afternoon, Controllab Experts will discuss “What Quality Control Data Teach Us”.
On September 8, Controllab’s Research and Development Manager, contributes with analytical observations and discussion of Proficiency Assay data at the roundtable on “Quality in clinical laboratories in times of pandemic”.
Ending the Controllab participation, on September 9, the Service Manager will present comparative data that will contribute to the sector’s reflection. At the Workshop, “Performance of in vitro devices against the Proficiency Testing”, participants will have access to information that will contribute to better decisions in their analytical processes.
At the event, Controllab is also sponsoring the Magna Conference “A Global Multicenter Study on Reference Values: The Caliper project (A global multicenter study of reference values: the Caliper project), which will be taught by Professor Khosrow Adeli on September 10th.

With an even more interactive platform, the congress has a differentiated scientific grid and there will be space to discuss the impacts that this transformation has had on laboratory medicine, how it can contribute to the effectiveness and safety of diagnosis and new developments in the sector.
