Controllab offers an Online Meeting that covered the role of water in the quality control process, contaminants, purification technologies, and other key aspects of the topic.
If you weren’t able to attend the live session of the “Good Laboratory Practices and Reagent Water: Importance for Clinical Laboratories” class, you now have the opportunity to check out the insights the initiative provided.
The Online Meeting was led by Dr. José Tesser Poloni, a pharmacist-biochemist (PUCRS), master and doctor in Health Sciences (UFCSPA), and educational manager at Controllab. The specialist provided a comprehensive overview of:
- Contaminants
- Quality requirements for water in clinical laboratories
- International standards
- Specifications – CLSI
Additionally, the specialist discussed:
- Interferents
- Purification technologies
- The role of water in the quality control process.
These and other topics discussed clarified doubts and broadened professionals’ understanding of good laboratory practices and reagent water. One of the participants highlighted that “the training was excellent and necessary for us to evaluate everything, from the water that arrives at our laboratory to the water we use for our internal controls”.
