The session was led by Dr. Ana Carolina Junqueira Moura, a veterinarian graduated from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), with a Veterinary Residency and a Master’s degree in Animal Science from the same institution. She works as a veterinary consultant at Instituto Hermes Pardini and as a technical-scientific advisor at Controllab.
The meeting reinforced the importance of microscopic evaluation of hematological smears as an essential tool for detecting relevant abnormalities and accurately describing the findings.
This practice contributes to the preparation of more comprehensive reports, providing greater diagnostic support to the veterinarian and adding value to both the test and the client.
