The Online Meeting was led by Dr. Alexandre Vizzoni, a biologist specializing in Immunohematology at UFRJ. He holds a Master’s and Ph.D. in Clinical Research, is certified in Immunohematology by ABHH, and serves as Vice Director of Education at INI-Fiocruz.
The session covered best practices and the interpretation of immunohematology tests, focusing on the assessment of agglutination reaction strengths, daily quality control procedures, and routine testing performed in clinical laboratories and blood banks.
Through a practical and application-oriented approach, the activity contributed to participants’ technical development and reinforced the reliability and safety of immunohematological test interpretation.
