“Seu Marcio”, as he was called by the employees, presided for more than 44 years at Controllab, a reference company in quality control in Brazil. He actively acted to promote reliability in laboratory quality control processes. Scientist, student of the Tupi-Guarani language, researcher and teacher, he has always believed in education and science, above all.
An exemplary professional, Marcio Biasoli was passionate about his family. Dedicated father and “drooling” grandfather, he managed to transform the recent lockdown into a romantic moment, where, on his knees, he asked again in marriage his partner of 53 years, Dona Elvandir.
He was also admired for his social projects and encouraging the educational and professional development of young people and adults. Always interested in knowing a bit of the history of everyone he knew, regardless of identity, gender, religion or color.
He was the author of several children’s books and leader of the L’ Avenir social project. Project that reached around 200 children from communities around Controllab, with reinforcement classes in the school curriculum, as well as percussion and choir courses, among other activities.
Far beyond the nostalgia, “Seu Márcio” leaves the 4 biological children and the Controllab family – those who are in the company, have been there or have always been close – the example of a happy and fulfilled life, dedicated to ethics and the belief in potential of each.
Vinícius Biasoli, who has shared the management of Controllab with his parents for years, is committed to keeping alive the principles that have guided the company since its creation until today.
