In the Collaborating Supplier partnership, the reference values of the equipment are guaranteed, without depending on a minimum training of results from the laboratories that use the system.
Among the hematology equipment distributed by Erba, the partnership includes the Erba H560 and Elite 580, which are 5-part hematology analyzers. The latter is fully automated.

As a Collaborating Supplier, the contracting company makes its products available (reagent, kit, equipment, consumables) so that Controllab can perform the sequence of repeated analyzes to assess the internal control. That is, the reference values for the supplier’s material become part of the package insert of Controllab’s internal control programs, regardless of the interlaboratory comparison.
Controllab also verifies, with the Collaborating Supplier’s analytical system, the proficiency testing materials. This partnership is continuous, with each new control material produced, whether for use in external control or internal control, analyzes and valuations will be performed in the supplier’s system. This partnership allows even more integration between the supplier, the client laboratory and Controllab, as the dynamics of the program favors the exchange of information. Consequently, there is more reliability for laboratories looking for quality verification when choosing the analytical system.
