Based in Porto Alegre and specializing in veterinary analyses, Pathos Laboratory has received the Proficiency Certificate for the 19th consecutive year. This recognition confirms the accuracy of its analytical processes and reinforces the confidence in the results delivered to veterinarians, pet owners, and other partners.

The recognition comes through the Proficiency Testing promoted by Controllab. The laboratory’s participation has been voluntary since the service was launched for the veterinary sector, even before it became a legal requirement. Proficiency Testing evaluates the accuracy of tests performed in laboratories. Here is how it works: the laboratory receives control samples, performs the analyses, and sends the results. These data are compared with those from other laboratories and the expected values. When there is agreement, the laboratory proves it is delivering reliable and consistent results.
The certification also keeps Pathos in compliance with the brazilian CFMV Resolution No. 1374/2020, which contributes to the institution’s credibility and strengthens public trust in its services.
