The 19º Congresso Gaúcho de Análises Clínicas (Congrelab) is organized by the Laboratórios Associados (LAS) and aims to foster the exchange of knowledge and updates in clinical analysis, with a focus on innovations, new technologies, and key trends in laboratory diagnostics.
The event will be held on November 22 and 23 at the PUC Events Center in Porto Alegre. The scientific program will be extensive, including lectures, panel discussions, and workshops, providing an excellent opportunity for networking and in-depth exploration of key topics such as Hematology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Cytology, and Strategic and Quality Management.
Controllab Participation
Controllab, reaffirming its commitment to fostering quality and promoting knowledge, will be represented by Fernando Berlitz, manager of indicators and accreditations, and José Poloni, the company’s educational manager. Their presentations will take place on November 23 during the following sessions:
- 8h30 – De Ideias a Impacto: Ferramentas e Cases de Inovação para Laboratórios, com Fernando Berlitz e a Dra. Camila Peter;
- 11h – Explorando o Potencial dos Dados do Controle Externo da Qualidade para Avaliar o Desempenho Histórico dos Laboratórios no Brasil, com José Poloni.
Fernando Berlitz will present how innovation is essential for the sustainability of laboratories and applicable to organizations of all sizes. He will demonstrate the use of metrics and indicators to guide management with a focus on results.
José Poloni, in turn, will emphasize the importance of external quality control data in identifying patterns, trends, and areas for improvement in laboratory processes through retrospective analysis of laboratory performance in proficiency testing.
