During the exhibition, courses will also be offered at the stand on quality tools in view of the latest discussions of RDC 302/2005 Between October 4th and 7th, the 54th Brazilian Congress of Clinical Pathology/Laboratory Medicine will take place, in Florianopolis – SC. The event brings together congress members, visitors, speakers and exhibitors from Brazil and other countries. Controllab, a reference company in laboratory quality control, will participate in various activities of the event. Focused on the promoting analytical excellence and professional updating, the company begins its participation in the Pre-Congress Courses on October 3rd. During the morning, Controllab representatives Shirley Lima (Microbiology manager) and Juliana Barroso (Services technical analyst) will discuss quality control together with a group of microbiology specialists, in the course “CP 01 – BrCAST from A to Z”. In the afternoon, another group of Controllab representatives will discuss the main laboratory quality control tools, including real cases extracted from the Proficiency Testing, Internal Control and Quality Specification. These discussions will help to maximize the benefits of Analytical Quality Control, also covering monitoring for Point of care systems. This is the activity “CP-08 in the area of Analytical Quality”. On October 4th, Controllab will participate in the roundtable “Disaster Recovery Plan (MR04)”. Luiza Bottino, technical manager of Services, will represent the company as a speaker in one of the blocks of the activity, talking about “Results of the Pandemic Management Survey”, based on a survey on the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic from the point of view of laboratory management. On the same date, Rafael Lopes, General Manager of Services, will participate in the Laboratory Indicators Program Conference (C04). At the conference, the specialist will present the program, which is conducted by the partnership SBPC/ML and Controllab.
