1st International Quality Symposium will focus on the quality of laboratory analyzes
The National Center for Tropical Diseases (CENETROP) of Bolivia, in partnership with Controllab, will hold the 1st International Quality Symposium, on May 4th and 5th, at the Colegio de Bioquímica y Farmacia de Santa Cruz.
The event’s program includes topics related to the main areas of analysis, such as biochemistry, urinalysis, hormones, among others. Good laboratory practices will also be discussed; the use of indicators for the organization’s sustainability; the importance of internal and external quality controls for issuing reliable reports, in addition to round tables for discussions and doubts’ clarification.
Controllab, a reference in laboratory quality control in Brazil and Latin America, will participate in various activities at the event, sharing knowledge and experience with the presence of its specialists and guests.
They will work with a focus on promoting analytical excellence and professional updating, discussing the main laboratory quality control tools and presenting cases extracted from Proficiency Testing, Internal Control and Quality Specification.
CENETROP is an institution with clinical, laboratory, epidemiological, research, biological production and external quality assessment programs aimed at knowledge of infectious pathologies in Bolivia.
The event will be a unique opportunity for professional qualification and discussion of laboratory activities in the country.
