Activity will bring discussions about analytical observations in Proficiency Testing for Covid-19, impacts of the pandemic on Accreditation Programs, learning and contributions of the pandemic in risk management and biological collection in diverse environments
The 2nd Virtual Congress of the Brazilian Society of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (SBPC/ML) has several Controllab participations. On September 8th, it will be time to contribute to the scientific grid, at a round table, with the participation of the manager of Research and Development, Jéssica Gomes.
Along with specialists, the Manager will be present in the activity that has the theme “Quality in clinical laboratories in times of pandemic”. In one of the blocks, Jessica will discuss with the participants about Proficiency Testing for Covid-19: analytical observations and discussion.
The Controllab representative will take relevant data about the performance of the analytical systems in the Proficiency Testing for SARS-CoV-2 in the different methods reported, extracting information that contributes to the analytical routines.
With the appearance of the variants, it became essential to evaluate the performance of the systems in this scenario and the capacity to correctly detect the virus. Discussing the data extracted from the Proficiency Testing will help participants make decisions about their routine.
