Accredited by Coordenação-Geral de Acreditação do Inmetro, Controllab produces Certified Reference Material in accordance with internationally accepted criteria and established in the ABNT NBR ISO 17034 standard.
Attentive to the needs of the laboratory public, Controllab – the largest provider of Laboratory Quality Control in Brazil and Latin America – provides Certified Reference Materials (CRM), an important tool for the quality control of analytical routines.
These materials accepted as standard, sufficiently homogeneous and stable in relation to one or more specific properties, are accompanied by documentation provided by recognized entities. With the CRM, it is possible to provide greater precision, accuracy and traceability to an analytical process, enabling more reliable measurements.

Controllab has been accredited since 2016 by Coordenação-Geral de Acreditação do Inmetro as a Reference Material Producer (RMP 0009). The chemical and physical properties were the first to be met through the materials: Redox Potential, Electrolytic Conductivity Solution, Electrochemical Multiparameter Solution, Buffer Solution for pH, Refractive Index and Turbidity.
At the end of August, the company obtained recognition for clinical and biological properties with the availability of an extensive list of Qualitative Reference Strains. There are more than 60 strains available that assist laboratories with the recommendations of NBR ISO/IEC 17025, demonstrating compliance and minimizing setbacks in assessments.
The company’s 43-year history is based on a commitment to offering solutions for the quality and assertiveness of laboratory results. There are more than 3,500 tests offered for different segments: clinical, blood bank, veterinary, microbiology and physical-chemical tests for medicines, food, sanitizing agents, water and effluents, fuels and others.
