The use of Certified Reference Materials (CRM) adds precision, accuracy and traceability to an analytical process, enabling more reliable measurements
Certified Reference Material (CRM) is the priority recommendation of ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025 for metrological traceability. Laboratories that have this recognition can rely on Controllab, which is accredited (PMR 0009) by Inmetro’s General Coordination of Accreditation (Cgcre) and produces CRM in accordance with internationally accepted criteria and established in the ABNT NBR ISO 17034 standard.
In the company’s portfolio, the CRMs are available:
Chemical property
• Redox Potential
• Electrolytic Conductivity Solution
• Electrochemical Multiparameter Solution
• Buffer Solution for pH
Physical property
• Refractive Index
• Turbidity
Clinical and biological properties
In this property, the MRC Qualitative Reference Cultures stands out, with more than 60 strains available that meet the various microbiological routines. They are strains from the NCTC (National Collection of Type Cultures) collection, the most renowned in Europe and also the oldest collection for bacteria in the world, founded in 1920.
In the routine of the analysis laboratories, the reference strains are fundamental for the quality control of the inputs used in the clinical and veterinary diagnostic exams, in the microbiological analysis of food, water, pharmaceutical products and the environment. They are also of great importance for carrying out studies to validate analytical methods and determine measurement uncertainty.
Making lyophilized strains available for immediate supply and with the recognition of ABNT NBR ISO 17034, is in line with the Controllab mission to continuously provide the best solutions for laboratory quality control.
